"When do you need this by?"

I got a call at 3pm today, evidently an inspector is requesting a drawing showing how to install a hanger. It's not rocket science, - if there's a hole, you put a nail there. The pointy end goes into the wood.

So I guess I'll drop what I'm doing and draw a picture for the guy. I asked my client when he needed this by...

"It's not a rush deal or anything - if you could get it to me by the end of tomorrow that would be fine."

I'm not kidding.
